IT services & solutions for the SMB market

Enterprise infrastructure judgment, SMB-sized.

Khalsworld helps small and medium businesses make the infrastructure, cloud, and platform decisions they're facing alone — brought down to SMB budget and SMB timelines, by someone who spent 13 years on the vendor side of exactly these calls.

Decision quality, not just uptime.

Generic MSPs sell break-fix helpdesk support staffed by junior techs. Generic IT consultancies sell enterprise methodology SMBs can't afford or absorb. Khalsworld sells enterprise-grade infrastructure and platform judgment, delivered at SMB scale and SMB price — from someone who has actually run the enterprise side of these transitions.

Founder Khal Damak spent 13 years managing a ~$50M enterprise infrastructure portfolio at VMware, with specialization across compute, network, storage, and microservices. He led a Splunk-focused team of 22 concentrated on security use cases, environment health, and value realization through optimization. He also builds software directly — developing in PL/SQL, C, Java, Python, and modern AI-assisted web development, currently shipping two live applications (Resumaye.ai and BarLog.app). Khalsworld applies that combination of enterprise infrastructure judgment and hands-on technical execution across whatever IT and platform challenges an SMB actually has — not tied to one vendor or stack, and not specializing narrowly in any one of them.

Seven directions of work, shaped to what you actually need.

These are capability areas, not a fixed package catalog. Scope and pricing get shaped per engagement — flat project fee, milestones, hourly, or retainer — based on the problem in front of us.

01

IT Environment & Infrastructure

A clear, prioritized view of what you're running today — servers, virtualization, cloud, licensing exposure, SaaS sprawl — and where the risk and opportunity sit, whatever your current stack looks like. Can be a lightweight review or a deep multi-site assessment.

Grounded in 13 years managing a ~$50M enterprise infrastructure portfolio across compute, network, and storage — the same discipline applied to whatever platforms an SMB actually runs.

02

Cloud & Platform Migration

Moving between infrastructure platforms, onto modern cloud infrastructure, or between SaaS tools — with the planning and execution experience to avoid the costly missteps along the way. The goal is the right cost-to-value tradeoff for your business, not migration for its own sake.

Years spent inside vendor licensing, renewal, and platform economics gives a grounded read on when staying put is the right call and when it isn't — and how to negotiate either way, regardless of which vendor you're on.

03

CRM & Business Platform Implementation

Standing up or improving the systems your business runs on — CRM, customer support tooling, and adjacent platforms — covering selection, setup, data migration, and adoption.

Grounded in enterprise Technical Account Management experience managing complex platform and customer relationships at scale.

04

Ongoing Managed IT Support

For businesses that want a continued relationship rather than a one-off project — general IT support, monitoring, and periodic health/licensing check-ins, sized to what you actually need.

Having managed a team of 22 focused on security use cases and environment health, Khal has run the operational side of a support function — not just used one.

05

End-to-End Engagement Delivery

The connective tissue across the other pillars — discovery through implementation to a clean handoff or transition into ongoing support, run as one coherent engagement.

Mirrors the Technical Account Manager (TAM) lifecycle Khal has run at VMware, compressed into a project format.

06

Automation & Efficiency

Identifying where manual, repetitive work is costing your team time and money — then building the automation and tooling to remove it. Scripting, workflow automation, and light custom software where an off-the-shelf tool doesn't fit.

Hands-on developer background (PL/SQL, C, Java, Python, and current AI-assisted web development) means Khal builds the fix directly rather than just recommending one — proven on two live applications, Resumaye.ai and BarLog.app.

07

Regulated & Healthcare IT Support

IT support for dental and medical practices that need PHIPA-aware safeguards done right — written service provider agreements, MFA, encryption, Canadian-hosted backups with tested restores, audit logging, and a documented breach-response process.

Built on the same enterprise safeguard discipline applied to compliance-bound environments, scoped to what a solo or small practice actually needs — not an enterprise compliance program you don't need yet.

Best-fit clients

10–150 employees, no in-house IT leadership (or one generalist wearing too many hats), based in or reachable from the GTA — though remote delivery works for CRM and cloud engagements.

Especially good fit

  • Facing an infrastructure or platform renewal and want a clear read on cost, alternatives, and negotiating leverage before deciding — whatever vendor you're on
  • Need a fractional/part-time IT lead, not a full-time hire
  • Standing up your first real CRM past spreadsheets and generic email
  • Doing manual, repetitive work that automation or light custom tooling could remove
  • Dental or medical practices needing PHIPA-aware IT support done properly
  • Infrastructure partner/channel firms needing subcontracted senior technical bench strength

Not a fit

  • Enterprise accounts — different scale, different sales motion

Tell us what you're facing.

Every engagement starts with a conversation about what you actually need — pricing and scope follow from that, not the other way around.

We'll respond to scope the conversation — no pricing quoted before we understand your environment.
